My professional and sporting lives may look very different from the outside. For me, they are closely connected.

My story

Built through experience.

Sport has been part of my life since childhood. At 12, I was already training five times a week in competitive table tennis.

But my path was anything but linear. There were successes, setbacks and periods when I lacked direction. For many years, sport existed alongside a very different lifestyle. I partied hard, smoked, drank and didn’t always make the best choices.

Sport was nevertheless the constant that never completely disappeared. Eventually, it became the catalyst for a much bigger transformation.

Around 2010, I increasingly turned towards ultra-running and long-distance triathlon. I completed my first Ironman in Zurich in 2011 and my first major mountain ultra, the 127 km Transgrancanaria, in 2014.

What started as sport gradually became a way of approaching life: set ambitious goals, prepare, commit, accept setbacks and keep moving forward.

Today, endurance sport is an important part of who I am. But it is only one part of the story.

Professional journey

20+ years in Marketing, Communications & PR.

Alongside sport, I have built a career spanning more than two decades in Marketing, Public Relations and Corporate Communications.

From Orange and Migros to Credit Suisse, IG Bank, International SOS and Honda, I have worked across communications, marketing, media relations, positioning, events and leadership for Swiss and international organisations and across international markets.

Since 2026, I have worked independently as a consultant and project lead while continuing to pursue ambitious goals as an ultra-endurance athlete and sharing what I learn through speaking engagements.

Entrepreneur

I also enjoy creating things rather than simply advising others on them.

Alongside my consulting activity, I am involved in entrepreneurial projects, including co-founding Tibet Café in Geneva in 2016 and creating Kelchang, a Swiss-Tibetan craft beer.

Entrepreneurship has given me another perspective on what it means to turn an idea into something real, with limited resources, uncertainty and full responsibility for the outcome.

Athlete

Going long.

What began with long-distance triathlon gradually evolved into ultra-running and eventually 24- and 48-hour racing.

I entered my first 24-hour race in 2019 with limited specific experience and won with 214 kilometres. It showed me that I might have some ability for this discipline, but also how much room there was to improve.

Since then, a methodical approach to training and a constant desire to learn have taken me to seven Swiss Championship titles, the podium at the 48h World Championships, three UTMB finishes and a 24-hour personal best of almost 242 kilometres.

What connects everything?

Performance is more than a result.

Business, communication and ultra-endurance have taught me many of the same things.

  • Purpose

    Know why you’re doing it.

  • Preparation

Big goals rarely happen by accident.

  • Commitment

Motivation fluctuates. Commitment carries you through the difficult parts.

  • Adaptability

Reality rarely follows the original plan.

  • People

Even apparently individual achievements depend on others.

  • Execution

A good idea is worth little until somebody makes it happen.

Those principles influence how I race, how I speak and how I work with clients.

Have an ambitious project in mind?

Whether you're looking for senior communications support, a speaker for your next event, a brand partnership or simply want to exchange ideas, I'd be happy to hear from you.
